The purpose of our youth program is to share the joy of singing four-part harmony. By providing sheet music, learning tracks for each of the four parts, workshops/festivals, educational classes tailored to your needs, and vocal instruction, we can help you foster the joy of singing through this unique American art form.
The Spirit of Phoenix Youth Program is not an avenue to recruit for our men’s chorus, but rather an opportunity to plant the seed of a cappella-style four part harmony. The seed may not sprout for years, but will provide an experience today’s youth may come back to later in their lives. The experience of hearing overtones from a ringing four-part chord and sharing that experience with new found friends will remain etched in their memories for years to come and can provide the foundation for a lifetime appreciation of a cappella harmonies.
